Expansion of professional competences Dresden accommodates more than 450,000 foreign guests who use our means of transport and visit customer centres. Language skills are playing an increasingly important role. In addition to English, other language skills are required. Due to the proximity to the Czech border, numerous day tourists come to our city. With the project, we wanted to expand our knowledge of the Czech language in order to do justice to this customer group. Recruitment of qualified personnel With about 164 million passengers per year, we are in the leading position in the nationwide comparison of transport companies. This means high quality and well-qualified specialist personnel. The project should help to attract well-trained employees, promote and expand professional and personal skills. Cosmopolitanism and tolerance were particularly important to us. DVB AG employs employees of different nationalities and would like to expand its attractiveness as an employer at the European level. Exchange of innovations and experiences The project served as a tool for interdisciplinary, interdisciplinary training at European level and the promotion of individual learning.
As a transport service provider to the city of Dresden, DVB AG is facing the challenge of actively shaping and driving forward the mobility transition. That is why it is our concern to provide our trainees with the necessary professional skills they need to meet the rapidly growing professional requirements. DVB AG is also experiencing an increasing shortage of skilled workers. The aim of the project is to counteract this and to lay important foundations for the professional career during training. Associated with this is the goal of retaining our future employees with the company for as long as possible and driving innovation. We achieve this with good training and targeted support for young people, also at European level. The exchange of experience and the acquisition of comprehensive professional skills make a significant contribution to withstanding the rapid development and further expanding the leading position of our company.
