Objectives

The aim was not only to develop language skills, but also to impart intercultural skills. The project should not only help the pupils to break down inhibitions in dealing with the language, but also to broaden their horizons on a personal and cultural level. In addition, due to the current challenges and developments, the project should also focus on inclusion and digitization.

Background

The combination of theory and practice is not only a top priority at our vocational high school, but especially at our vocational school as part of the dual vocational training and the technical schools. This is enriched by the promotion of tolerance and empathy within the framework of study trips and internship exchange relationships. Intercultural skills are also taught within the framework of UNESCO school projects. Furthermore, we record the current and forecast qualification needs of trainees and teachers in regular exchanges with companies and chambers. The project enabled us to make progress in the points just mentioned and to achieve our goals.
