Objectives

We wanted to ensure that the training to become a state-approved restorer includes an international exchange, which increases the quality and interest in the training. Improving foreign language skills, making it easier to find your way around and to work abroad, as well as making social and professional contacts possible. Participating lecturers were able to improve their teaching content based on how and what was taught in the Czech Republic, which contributes to increasing the quality of their own teaching content. Cross-border cooperation to improve training and to strengthen the requirements with regard to the future world of work.

Background

In the training to become a state-approved restorer, it is important to learn working techniques, and we decided to hold workshops in another country in a different cultural environment during the training in order to broaden the training and enrich it with international influences. In the training it is important to be able to communicate in English, to work in groups with people who were previously unknown and thus to achieve more naturalness in group work and cooperation as well as to increase communication skills and the desire to discover new things.
