In the project application for the teacher-related sub-project 4, we formulated the need for cooperation between the participating institutions in order to gain insights into the specific European requirements of the respective training occupations or into the economic processes of the host country, to increase subject, method and language competence and thus to develop modern teaching concepts. Within the scope of the amendment applicationse, objectives were supplemented and the mobility locations were adjusted. The realised SP 4 pursued: Objective (O) 1) Develop language competence O2) Acquire professional competence to develop a case study on the topic of innovation and sustainability in the construction sector and gain insights into the Spanish education system O3) Digital learning - Developing and testing digital teaching and learning methods and materials - Insights into the Austrian education system with regard to possibilities and prerequisites for the curricular implementation of digital learning - Identifying parameters and obstacles of digital learning and transferring them to the digitalisation strategy at BSZ 1 O4) Initiation or intensification of contacts with partner organisations
We see our vocational school centre as part of a changing Europe and thus see ourselves as mediators and facilitators of European ideas. We are convinced that especially through the encounter with young people in the host country, the community concept "Europe" can be experienced in different perspectives. Learners and teachers are thus given the opportunity to work and live in foreign cultures, to examine stereotypical cultural understandings and to broaden their own experiences. The improvement of foreign language competence, the strengthening of social and personal responsibility go hand in hand with these developments. In order to expand professional knowledge and skills, the planned mobilities created particularly intensive learning environments that could not be realised in the sending country in this way. The mobilities took into account the requirements for geographical and professional mobility. The original project was divided into 4 sub-projects (SP), 3 of which were student-related and 1 teacher-related. Due to the Corona crisis since March 2020, we subsequently changed our project focus to some extent, added to the objectives (see amendment dated July, 15 2021) and only implemented SP 4.
