Trainees The practical phases in other European countries were intended to provide our trainees with crucial social, intercultural, linguistic and professional skills. In this way, we wanted to strengthen professional skills with regard to the later educator profession, which is increasingly international and intercultural and requires corresponding competences, and to give the students a view through "European" glasses. The professional attitude was to be shaped and strengthened by personal and professional experiences abroad. Education staff Educational staff should learn about different pedagogical concepts and educational systems in the partner institutions. This knowledge should be incorporated into teaching concepts and lesson plans. During the stays on site, the trainees should be accompanied, evaluated and advised. For the partner institutions, the exchange should also lead to a reflection on their concepts and methods. Institution / educator profession Internships abroad should increase the attractiveness of our school for future generations of students and contribute to an intercultural opening of our entire school system.
The practical phases in other European countries are intended to provide our students (m/f/d) with additional social, intercultural, linguistic and professional skills. Through this new type of working day, they gain unique insights into different approaches, cultural circles and different pedagogical concepts. This supports them in their perception, gives them self-confidence, develops their language and social skills and strengthens them for their future profession, which is increasingly international and intercultural. The profile of requirements for the profession of educator increasingly includes international insights, integration and migration aspects. We would like to strengthen and develop the professional profile of prospective educators around intercultural competences in the long term. The experience gained and the opportunities for comparison across national and system boundaries increase the competence and quality, which we will use profitably for the education of current and future students, in order to be able to prepare the students for their professional life in an even more well-founded and future-oriented way. This also increases the attractiveness of our school for future generations of students.
