The aim of the project was not only to increase the number of mobilities but to also include Early Years trainees (EQF level 3) into the project. Up to now only trainees on EQF level 6 have taken part in the project. More aims were - to increase the process of internationalization of vocational training at BBS Ritterplan and in the region, - to strengthen the intercultural awareness of all participants, - to enhance their professional knowlege, skills and competences, - to improve their language, personal and digital skills to enable them to get well prepared for life and work in Europe, - to promote their readiness and motivation to learn and promote their shaping of political ideas and commitment for Europe, - to support the transparency and recognition of qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Youth Work and Health and Social Care in Europe. Moreover, another important aim was to discuss issues from the Human Rights Charta of the European Union in order to increase the participants´ awareness of the importance of an inclusive society with equal opportunities in which everybody can develop her/his full potential.
The project "Praktische Ausbildung und Erfahrungen im Lernfeld Europa" (paerle) which has been carried out successfully at the VET school "BBS Ritterplan" since 2007 was to be continued from 2019 until 2021. Due to the experience of the last years an increase of the interest in the project and the number of mobilities was expected. From 2007 until 2013 about 22 mobilities had been carried our every year within the programme "Lifelong Leanring". In the year 20217/18 under the programme "Erasmus+" the number of mobilities had already risen to 87.
