Kindergarten teachers are minding and educating children and fulfill a task important to any society. Therefor they need knowledge, competence and skills, to work professionally. With the Erasmus+ mobilities we want to offer our students intense learning experiences by improving their job related competences, by personal growth, increasing language skills and gaining intercultural experiences. All named tasks are part of a professional personality of kindergarten teachers. By participating in the Erasmus+ programme students were able to increase their job related skills and competences.
The Pädagogische Akademie Elisabethenstift gGmbH consists of the school branches Höhere Berufsfachschule für Sozialassistenz (HBFS), Fachschule für Sozialwesen (FSSW) and Berufliches Gymnasium (BG). Students of FSSW are trained to become state-certified kindergarten teachers. For many years now we are offering the opportunity to participate the Erasmus+ programme (former: Leonardo da Vinci). During the second and/or third year of training students can work in kindergartens throughout Europe. The Erasmus+ programme is an optimal learning opportunity for our students.
