Objectives

The aim here is in particular the acquisition of professional expertise, i.e. knowledge and skills for later independent action. This is in the context of the acquisition of personal competence, in this case social competence and independence. This conceptual orientation refers to the DQR, the German implementation of the EQF. We are committed to intercultural competencies and the teaching of the associated professional competence. In their fields of work, our graduates and teachers have to deal more and more with people who have a different cultural background than the native majority. The most intensive learning opportunity for the acquisition of intercultural competencies is the direct interaction with people from different cultures on the territory of their countries of origin. At the same time, it is important to prepare our students for life in a democratic Europe of citizens. Due to the EU freedom of movement and if the profession is recognized in other EU countries, our graduates can also work in other countries. This also applies to the educational staff. Background

All internships are integrated into our educational programs as a place of learning and serve to implement the teaching and learning content taught in the classroom and to practice for later professional practice. We understand the offer of international mobilities as an additional possibility to get to know the chosen profession in a European country. In addition, participation in the mobility is intended to promote identification with European values and tolerant and democratic behavior. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
