Objectives

The overall aim of the project was to support individuals from institutions without an ongoing Erasmus+ project, thus enabling them to complete a training-relevant internship in a European country abroad. On the institutional level, we wanted to encourage vocational schools and their staff and also enable small and medium-sized companies to increase their attractiveness as an internationally oriented training company using the Erasmus+ project. By promoting and accompanying the learning processes of young people the project focused on fostering improved language skills, increased self-confidence, self-reflection and new experiences. In order to give people with impairments or learning difficulties access to such a program, we targeted schools and institutions for people with special needs to provide them with advice. It was also our goal to support and motivate people in special situations, such as people with children.

Background

Due to different national legislations and differing education systems, there are still diverse approaches to (continuing) vocational education and training in Europe. Against this background, we would like to offer young adults who are in a vocational training course additional qualification measures in other European countries, accompany their professional integration and contribute to democratic education in Europe. Overall, the project was carried out to contribute to the consolidation of a sustainable and strong Europe. In cooperation with our partner institutions and local stakeholders, we would like to facilitate hands-on experience and enable our participants to grasp Europe in everyday-life.
