We would like to further expand this international dimension of learning for all stakeholders in the school. In addition to expanding and consolidating the existing offers in the field of mobility, this also includes establishing permanent contacts with other social pedagogical institutions both at national and European level. An important area of the JAS, because it is fundamental for school development and in which improvements should be achieved, is the constant expansion of competence of the management and teaching staff, which is central to the learning success of the students. A significant part of this expansion of competence should be obtained through the stays abroad of the staff. The goal of the development of the school towards Europeanization and internationalization is the comprehensive, cosmopolitan, high-quality education of the students. During your stay abroad you will also have the opportunity to develop professional, linguistic, organizational and intercultural skills and to mature as a personality.
The Jane Addams School (JAS) has been active in the implementation of EU mobility projects since 2009. The implementation of these projects in conjunction with participation in other European projects to improve quality, primarily for the management and teaching staff of the school, have already resulted in the school experiencing a stronger European orientation. Analogous to students at universities, who have been studying for a long time with the awareness of the possibility, perhaps even the necessity, of a stay abroad, this awareness has meanwhile also grown more and more at JAS. Many students now start their training at JAS knowing that there are scholarships for stays abroad.
