Objectives

A central goal was to train teachers in the use of digital media and tools. In the vocational education sector, we aimed to digitally implement occupation-specific learning fields. Specifically, the aim was to make improvements in the following areas: - Digital skills acquisition for teaching and education, including in the creation, editing and use of interactive video sequences, homepages and blogs, assessment and evaluation tools; - Acquisition of knowledge in blended learning, flipped classroom and cooperative teaching with apps and web tools;Development of transferable best practice approaches to foster student motivation; - Improving digital skills by using a variety of programmes/apps to connect teaching and learning; - Developing concrete teaching projects with multimedia content (e.g. creating eBooks). For our students, a stay abroad should not only be a personal gain but also for their private and professional environment and thus also for our school, in particular - Strengthening independence, self-esteem and self-confidence - ability to work in a team - intercultural interest - application of professional knowledge

Background

With this application, we wanted to bring together our projects from the previous Erasmus+ applications. Previously, we had carried out a teacher mobility (project "Building Bridges in Europe 2015/16) and a student mobility (project "ASSTA - ASS Traineeships Abroad). The focus was on the further development of teaching and school as well as the testing and use of new teaching methods and media and the associated competence development of the teachers. The ASS had set itself the goal of linking its activities and experiences from the different areas. We expected the use of tablets in class to improve the implementation of competence orientation and individual support in the classroom. Teacher mobility should offer the staff the opportunity to think outside the box and broaden their horizons in these areas. Likewise, the student body should benefit from the exchange in order to better cope with the diverse challenges and professional demands placed on them.
