The main goals of the project were to strengthen vocational training in green professions and to promote the European idea going in line with our company name Educational Service for Europe/ Bildungsservice für Europa (BilSE). The regional decline in the number of apprenticeships and in the number of apprentices should be countered by strengthening apprentices and the agricultural profession. Furthermore, national educational boundaries should be overcome and professional exchanges should also take place within the framework of the respective training pathways. In addition, the individual competencies of participants should be strengthened and networks expanded. In order to achieve these main objectives, vocational training in the above mentionned areas should be expanded through mobilities abroad. This should also strengthen firms in terms of training quality and their business orientation. Within the framework of the organized stays abroad, intercultural competences and professional abilities of the participants were improved, expanded and strengthened. Furthermore, the opportunity to stay abroad should be widely advertised.
For us as BilSE_Institute, the idea of the ERASMUS+ program and, above all, the promotion of the European idea and joint projects are essential components for strengthening individual competences, European networking and cooperation in the fields of education and employment. Professional stays abroad for different target groups help people in Europe to acquire intercultural skills and increase their chances on the labour market. We also support the objective of promoting disadvantaged people in this context. As sending apprentices or training staff is not centrally organised in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, we have set up a national consortium with the help of other institutions such as the Bauernverband MV/ Farmers' Association MV, regional technical and vocational schools and the specialist association GaLaBau MV. In this network we want to support the ERASMUS+ program by organising individual mobilities for apprentices and training staff from the agricultural sector of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. We also want to contribute to idea of strengthening European values and making our society more inclusive and greener.
