The foreign trade strategy of the Dresden Chamber of Skilled Crafts aims to consolidate existing cooperation with various partner chambers. Through the continuation of joint mobilities, the existing partnerships could be consolidated. The cooperations were thus given an impetus for real, practical cooperation, and the partnerships were strengthened with the help of the mobility activities. Furthermore, new project partners could be found and thus the goal of establishing reliable partnerships in the skilled crafts sector was achieved. The Chamber of Skilled Crafts wants to improve the quality of vocational training, increase the competitiveness of its member companies and recruit suitable skilled workers for its member companies. This was successfully achieved through the implementation of mobility with the help of the ERASMUS+ project.
The Dresden Chamber of Skilled Crafts represents the interests of its member companies. Among them are numerous training companies that train young people in a skilled trade. These young people should be optimally prepared for the needs and requirements of today's working world. This includes social skills and international experience. In addition, vocational training should be made more attractive as an educational pathway and be of equal value to other educational pathways. One component of this goal is the possibility of completing a subsidised internship abroad. The Dresden Chamber of Skilled Crafts would like to support this option in the best possible way and has therefore decided to implement its own ERASMUS+ project in order to enable flexible, uncomplicated and direct work placements abroad for trainees from member companies. Furthermore, it is important to the Dresden Chamber of Skilled Crafts to carry the European idea into the chamber district, which extends to the Polish and Czech borders.
