The project focused on the following thematic areas: Integrating European issues into teaching: Planned staff mobilities were to develop a professional learning community through peer to peer lectures and job shadowing to develop and implement teaching ideas and projects. Language learning: Mobilities for learners and teachers should provide appropriate learning opportunities. In particular, teachers should develop their capacity to teach bilingual subjects. Staff training and development: In addition, the acquisition of specific competences in dealing with multicultural classes was at the forefront of the planned staff mobilities. European school in the region: The project was to support the re-certification of Euro Akademie Hannover as a "European school in Lower Saxony" and support joint projects with other European schools. Project-oriented school partnerships and internships: Through originally planned workshops and participation in International Teaching Weeks, an exchange of teachers (Incomings, Outgoings) was envisaged. Quality assurance: This aimed in particular at improving the quality of the implementation of staff mobility.
The project was carried out to enable students in initial vocational training ( state-certified commercial assistant) to do an internship abroad. Beneficiary students and teachers were given the opportunity to test and improve their language skills in a professional context.
