Objectives

2. By increasing support for teacher mobility, the aim was to expand structural cooperation, as teachers work in the VTIs for longer periods of time and play a key role in shaping the personnel and organizational structures of the VTI. The objective of teachers' participation in mobinardo was to gain new insights into the operational and teaching reality of their respective vocational specialization abroad and to learn about new aspects of the learners' professional fields of activity. In addition, during their stays abroad, the teachers were to establish European contacts that became building blocks for the human resources and organizational development of their home VTI and contributed to the establishment of lasting relationships with foreign partner institutions. Based on their own experience abroad, they were expected to provide more competent advice and information to their learners.

Background

1. The structural cooperation with the participating vocational training institutions (VTI) from the administrative district of Münster was intensified. Almost 100% of the participants came from this district. In accordance with the ministerial requirements of the MSB, we continued to work closely with the network of EU-GS throughout NRW. Learners from all over NRW had the opportunity to participate in mobinardo if the contact was established in cooperation with the respective partner EU-GS. Within the AR of Münster, the focus strengthened the permanent cooperation with the VTIs and thus intensified the institutional impact of the project. This included a stronger promotion of mobinardo at the VTI, e.g. through newsletters and individual counseling sessions with teachers and school principals. The 10% mobility strategy of the state of NRW was pursued further, but could not be expanded due to the pandemic and the difficulties of the VTIs to carry out physical mobilities. One VTI nevertheless succeeded in obtaining its recertification by the Ministery.
