We strive for our students to gain and enlarge their competencies, especially those related to their field of work. Furthermore, competencies in other fields should / could also be gained, e.g. project management, team work, ability to work in a team, as well as having confidence in the use of English (in general as well as in workrelated words and idioms). In the flow with the Czech republic we als expected our students to pick up some words in the Czech language.
We set up this project because it ties in with the mandatory contents of vocational training for media designers or people working in hotel and catering (or bakeries or confectionaries). These aspects of vocational training relate to the third year of apprenticeship. Furthermore this project is a follow-up to one that was granted an award in 2015/16 because ECVETS were stated and could be achieved. Unfortunately, we could not sent any students for the project for hotel and catering. The corona pandemic and travel restrictions made it impossible.to send them within the time frame given. Due to these restrictions we could also have only one flow with Finland for the media designers.
