Internships on an international level are intended to provide our students and graduates with valuable insight into modern work environments while at the same time enabling them to contribute actively to handling routine processes and acquire job-related soft skills, e g working in an international team, time management, prioritization of tasks at hand, etc. Our teaching staff participate in the Erasmus+ programme with increasing enthusiasm in order to learn new things about the use of digital resources for language teaching, databases, job-specific software, etc. and to improve their knowledge about the latest developments in terms of pedagogical and didactical aspects.
Fremdspracheninstitut der Landeshauptstadt München (FIM) combines a vocational training school for foreign-language correspondents and a specialist academy for translators and interpreters under one roof. Both are full-time programs during and after which Erasmus+ mobilities make it possible for our students to gain practical job-related experience abroad. Our main goals are to improve our students' employability in a modern, global working environment and to make the training programs we offer even more attractive.
