The plan is to enhance the strategy of internationalisation of the BBS Soltau labelled European School in Lower Saxony and School fo Ambassadory or the European Parliament. This was continously realised via the mobilities of Erasmus respectively jobshadowing. Measures of mobility represents a very important element of the program Erasmus+ for more than 20 years now. The intention now is to continue for enlarging this kind of activities and in cooperation with the companies as partners. The companies are convinced of the possiblity to send their apprentices abroad and to do an internship in another country. Other focuses on the way of internationalisation are the follwing: -growth of intercultural knowledge within the european employment market, - improvement of the foreign language competences, - extension of the job-relatede skill, - extension of the skills and competences concerning the professional topics, - guarantee of the learning results with the backround of ECVET - augmentation in quality of the individual skills and knowledge, - extension of the internal and external apperception as an apprentice within and outside of an intership abroad, - improvement of european competences of teachers and trainers.
This project was supposed to continue with the work and process of internalisation of the project titled „ Europe for apprentices in Lower Saxony N° 8“. That means that either apprentices in the Dual system either teachers and trainers can benefit of the European program and by this way to represent a good and solid basic for increasing the process of internalisation of the European school BBS Soltau and the projects of mobility. For doing this, all preparation were done, inscriptions of students and apprentices, the culural and linguistic introduction fo the various professionel sections. But in spite of all this efforts to fulfill the plan of strategy it was not possible to realize the planning. At the beginning of the pandemic in autumn 2021 and spring 2022 the Ministry of Education in Hanovre, Lower Saxony had strictly forbidden travelling abroad, including Erasmus mobilities, so there was no chance at all.
