Objectives

Our EU Erasmus projects should be designed and organized in an extended team of project staff. This group is led in tandem by two project coordinators. The coordinators are in contact with the NA-BIBB and multiply the organizational framework and EU program guidelines. They create framework conditions that make Erasmus transparent for everyone involved in school life. So far, the agricultural department has only participated in the KA2 projects of other organizations. Now we want to create our own training courses for the individual professional groups of farmers, winegrowers and production gardeners for our vocational students. With the trainees of the BKII health assistant, we want to take a look at Scandinavia against the background of problems in the German health care system and shed light on individual aspects of education and professional practice in the health care system through comparative studies. In the project documentation subject, the learners should create documentation on partial aspects and supplement this with on-site research (interviews, job shadowing). For this we use contacts of our Finnish partner organization.

Background

With our entry into the mobility charter for vocational training, the Edith Stein School in Freiburg has taken the step away from individual educational measures for individual professional groups towards centrally designed and organized international educational work under the umbrella of our school. Linked to this is the development of a central infrastructure for the entire project management, including the supervision of interns or teachers from our partner institutions. Facilitate cross-project tasks such as supervising guest interns from our partner organizations in an attractive team. This should make it easier for all interested parties to access new projects. After the previous training offers were concentrated on the hotel and catering department, their projects should be continued, but learners in other departments and specialist areas should also be given the opportunity to start new projects with significantly less effort. A focus should be placed on learners with few educational opportunities. As a vocational training institution, we would like to support the opportunities of a European job market and cultural diversity.
