It was the aim of the project to teach young people from vocational preparation courses and dual initial education in an international context. It was the disadvantaged students of our education center who should get the chance to gain international experience and to promote and strengthen personality development and key competencies. The in part socially disadvantaged and learning-impaired young people were to be granted the possibility to get to know diverse cultures and work environments, to broaden their horizon, to strengthen their confidence and last but not least to gain international vocational competences. It was the aim to transfer and to use additional qualifications as well as to teach course-relevant training elements in an international context and using ECVET principles.
Bildungsgesellschaft mbH Pritzwalk is taking account of the fact that international skills have become increasingly important in the world of work for many years. With this project, socially and educationally disadvantaged young people again are given the opportunity to expand their professional, linguistic and social skills in pre-vocational training measures and dual initial training. Disadvantaged young people in particular, who are struggling with a wide variety of deficits, should use the project to strengthen key qualifications such as teamwork, openness, self-confidence and resilience. We know from previous projects that the participants we had sent come back more motivated and with new knowledge and can be used in a wide range of areas. The mobility served to promote learning purposes using ECVET principles, transnational co-operation and, last but not least, our trainees abroad are good ambassadors for the dual vocational training system. Finally, stays abroad are an advantage in the competition for qualified trainees and increase the attractiveness of your training company.
