Opportunities for employees: Securing workers through attractive jobs (employer branding) and expanding the spectrum of knowledge by improving qualifications. Knowledge flow back into your own company and cooperation in intercultural teams as well as creation and expansion of a European network. Political reasons: Munich Airport is a flagship for the city of Munich and Bavaria in Europe. Maintaining a good image and high reputation in international air traffic. Our goal was staff that is internationally trained and experienced. Personnel who are willing to work abroad and can adapt flexibly to new cultures, working conditions and people.

Background

Munich Airport has been conducting flows in vocational training for 25 years now. Every year these have become an integral part of vocational training. Occasionally we also have the capacity to exchange educational staff, which was possible in this project. In general, we want to strengthen our attractiveness as an employer and offer additional services. In addition, we can "reward" good trainees and long-standing training staff. Of course, the exchange of expertise must not be neglected. Some training content can be better demonstrated abroad and other approaches in the same industry are definitely helpful for an employee. We want intercultural and cosmopolitan employees. Language training should also be promoted.
