Objectives

The aim of this project was to train teachers at our school in terms of their media pedagogical competences through structured in-service training and job shadowing in order to further establish the use of tablets/digital media at our school. These measures should also provide the opportunity to establish contacts with teachers from other countries who are open to international cooperation in order to develop long-term projects (eTwinning, Erasmus+, school partnerships).

Background

With regard to quality development and internationalisation, we have identified a need for further training within our school staff in two areas in particular, for which the implementation of an Erasmus+ project can be helpful. On the one hand, in the area of "digital media": For some time now, we have started to use digital media more intensively in our lessons - the necessary technical equipment is gradually being acquired, but many pedagogical staff members lack the corresponding know-how. On the other hand, in the context of European project work: For a few years now, eTwinning projects have been successfully carried out at our school - however, only a few teachers and thus only a small part of our students have been involved in this international project work so far.
