Implementing this project we saw the opportunity to improve the conditions of self-regulated learning and to prepare our students best for lifelong learning by taking part in structured courses and sharing experiences with other teachers. Participating in structured courses we expect an enhancement of our competences in the fields of project management, self-management, classroom management and health promotion. One of our major goals within the project was the extension of our digital competences to efficiently create further-oriented and media-based lessons. During the course of our project we developed new goals, like the improvement of motor skills with our learners and the development of entrepreneurial thinking to enhance our students' chances on the European labour market. Furthermore, we aimed at strengthening our collaboration on European level, most of all, through the implementation of students exchanges. In addition to that, we expect an enhanced motivation to work as a teacher in our school and an increased job satisfaction.
Being a young grammar school, founded in 2017, we want to create a learning environment for our students that meets the needs of different learning types and levels of performance considering the natural learning processes of a child at the same time. Self-regulated learning is a central element in our daily routine, to give our learners the opportunity to learn according to their own goals, learning arrangements and in their own pace while satisfying the requirements of upper secondary education. Furthermore, we aimed at enhancing our school's development in different areas, for example the extension of our digital competences, the further elaboration of the concepts for our school trips and students exchanges or the improvement of our strategies for self-management. At the same time, we wanted to include new colleagues in our school with their own ideas and experiences. Participating in structured courses all over Europe we wanted to give our teachers the opportunity to develop personally by gaining new theoretical input, sharing experiences with other Europeans and visiting schools abroad. In addition to that, our intention was to use newly acquired competences of our teachers for our school's development.
