1. strengthening individual school leadership competence: Individual school leadership plays a central role in the success of a school - especially in the success of teaching development. A second focus of in-service training should therefore be the strengthening of individual school leadership competences. The members of the individual school management teams set their own priorities for their in-service training, depending on their needs (e.g. initiating school development processes, leading teams, dealing with conflicts, the role of school leadership, multilingualism). 2 Strengthening the competences of school supervisors School inspectorates are responsible for a wide range of issues. If, in addition to their traditional role as service, legal and technical supervisors, school supervisors are also understood as "critical friends" in the area of school development work, this project should primarily cover topics from school development work (e.g. improvement of teaching, design of modern learning spaces, work with pupils with special educational needs).
The project carried out should be the starting point for Erasmus+ activities of the Bremerhaven School Authority. As an important actor in school and staff development, the Schulamt Bremerhaven would like to systematically develop the PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE of as many colleagues as possible from the SCHOOL LEADERSHIPS and SCHOOL SUPERVISORS over the next few years. While the personnel development of individual teachers is regularly the responsibility of the individual schools, school management members are to have access to other offers. These should include - in addition to the established offers of the School Development and In-service Training Department - in-service training opportunities in other European countries, which are initiated and coordinated by the school supervisors.
