The aim is to find out how Dutch teachers deal with the development in the field of Industry 4.0, how the implementation of the content of Industry 4.0 and digitalization has found its way into vocational training there and to compare this with their own activities and find a best practice for future issues. The curricula in dual training have not yet been filled with this content. The aim was to find answers to the following questions: How do companies and vocational schools in the BeNeLux implement the contents of Industrie 4.0 in vocational education? What measures can the participating teachers adopt for their own implementation of the content? Which technologies are already part of everyday life in the companies visited? What opportunities for networking and cooperation arise from the job shadowing? In particular, there was also an exchange between the heads of the International Offices of the three ROCs and the managing director of the EU Office Arnsberg to discuss future cooperation opportunities.
The consortium is an add-on to an already completed measure in NRW. Over a period of three years, 300 teachers were trained in professional industry-related training courses on the topics of Industry 4.0 and implementation of the content in vocational education, organized by the Nachwuchsstiftung Maschinenbau in cooperation with the NRW Ministry for Schools and Education. Now the already running NRW project should be extended to the European foreign countries by the following question 2020: "Industry 4.0 in the European foreign countries" - How do the BeNeLux countries implement these contents in their training and in the training company? The participants of 4 BKs of the RegBez received now in 2022 insights in 3 nl ROC, how there with the specific topics of the areas Industry 4.0 is proceeded and which developments were already completed locally. The topics open up from the following fields: Process Analysis, IT Security, Smart Maintenance, CAx-based Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, Networked Manufacturing Systems, Intelligent Production with CPS and Work 4.0.
