In the field of digitalisation, we wanted to get suggestions in dealing with heterogeneous groups of students during lessons as well as to deepen our skills regarding heterogenous class groupings. Moreover, we hoped for suggestions regarding working in multiprofessional teams. Specifically on the composition of multiprofessional teams as well as constructional changes for a better learning environment. Regarding digitalisation, we hoped to deepen our skills in structuring and organizing the process of digitalisation at our school. Hardware as well as Software. Also, the teachers should get concrete ideas on using or implementing digital devices into their lessons in order to focus on the learner’s individual needs. Moreover, the teachers should be able to encourage the learner’s digital competences.
The Waldschule Schwanewede has been doing projects with European partners for years now. Our school wanted to expand the Eurpean interest and dedication to further training for teachers. As the school’s main field of development are inclusion and digitalisation, we looked for partner schools and professional development to expand our knowledge and skills. Since 2012, we have about 10-15 students with special needs at our school in each year group so we are eager to improve the field of inclusion steadily on various levels. In the field of digitalisation, our school faced some obstacles regarding reconstructing some parts of our school building as it was build in 1972. Therefore, we are looking for solutions on how to enhance digital develoment.
