It was our intention to innovate and improve our daily routine of teaching with the European input. We also hoped to get to know European partners or maybe even future friends to create projects together with our students even after having participated in the workshops. Our main interest was to strengthen the intercultural competences of our colleagues in order to represent the European mentality at our school not only in the language classes. It is important - also as an adult and as a teacher - never to stop learning and improving. We also intended to get to know how other schools/teachers get along with similar problems all teachers have to face especially concerning digital challenges.
The fact that our school name includes that we are a European School motivates us to find various methods to integrate the European mentality in your daily school routine and that all the students could feel it.Therefore it is important that also our colleagues do their best to widen their horizons and learn from the ERASMUS+ input. Furthermore it is obvious every single day that the importance of the digital development is increasing permanently and especially here in our region (Rostocker Heide) we still need numerous digital innovations. In order to prepare our students effectively for this modern and digital future, it is important also for us not to stop learning and optimizing ourselves concerning the digital impact on school and teaching methods. Being an integrated school we notice very often that more and more students have difficulties to learn successfully or have problems themselves. It is important to be aware of every individual person and to support each one in an appropriate way. That is the reason why we concentrated on these issues and workshops.
