Goals for the Berufskolleg AHS: The guiding principles of the Berufskolleg AHS require a variety of work assignments for the school community. For the further development of the school programme, it is clear that further training and impulses from other school institutions are necessary. As the experience of the last few years has shown, the teaching staff must be involved in this across subjects, courses and hierarchies so that this can lead to success, e.g. in the sense of harmonising the educational standards. Goals for the participating teachers: The further development of intercultural competences, in which changes in attitude and the opening towards innovative ideas, cooperation in the team and cooperation in the sense of cultural exchange are advanced/initiated through new impulses. In addition to the acquisition of key competences, the selected ICT training courses were intended to create a fundamental motivation basis for digital cooperation and international exchange among colleagues. The training courses on "digitalisation" aimed at developing new learning methods and teaching materials as well as enabling teachers to cooperate with schools all over Europe.
Basically, our ambition is to further develop a development process that has been started within the framework of the internationalisation of our school. First of all, it was important for us to increase the general competence and skill level of the teachers, especially with regard to being able to contribute to a cohesive society in the present and in the future. Our aim is to broaden cultural and professional dimensions and to integrate them into the school's everyday life and curriculum. The benefits of further education can thus lead to an individual benefit for all those involved in the system (teachers and learners). We would like to further strengthen the European profile at our school and pursue the European idea. The basis for this is to increase the intercultural competences of the teachers, which can then be passed on to the students. In the internationalisation process, the reduction of xenophobia and the promotion of tolerance towards national characteristics is fundamental. Through the cooperation of the teachers in the European context, the professional portfolio of the seconded teachers also expands.
