We want to advance certain areas of our school like "study skills"/"personality coaching", "teaching and studying with an iPad" and "foreign language lessons"; we want to provide interested teachers with the possibility to get further qualifications, enhance their motivation and ensure that the content of the courses is shared with the rest of the teaching staff afterwards. To sum up, we want to improve the overall quality of the school in terms of teaching, learning and coaching in the long run.
Field of 'learning coaching': There are already teachers who offer this at our school. They wanted to further educate themselves. Field of 'self-coaching' with the LeaderinMe concept: Students are expected to coach themselves and take on more responsibility. Field of 'Teaching and learning with the iPad' or other digital tools: Meanwhile, more than half of the classes are classes with iPads (financed by guardians) at our school, our concept is award-winning (our school won the school development prize ISI-Digital). We wanted to further educate ourselves in this area. We also wanted to learn from the best (in our opinion Finland), especially in the area of 'digitalization'. Field of „teaching foreign languages“: Teachers of foreign languages wanted to further educate themselves in the area of language and culture studies.
