Current events such as the state funding of schools regarding their digital equipment and setting lead to the focus of teaching with digital tools. Staff was aiming at improving their knowledge in the field of methods, such as digital tools but also regarding didactical decisions and questions of how to involve tools into lessons and learning in the most effective way. In cooperation with the person responsible for the German title MINT-EC school the Erasmus+ coordinator developed the idea of enlarging the options MINT-EC concentrates on by making use of the Erasmus+ programme. Staff should gain the opportunity to get didactical and methodological input for the subject and especially the field of digital learning in other European countries. 10 of 14 mobilities planned evolved around the topic of teaching science with the help of digital tools. Staff was aiming at gaining an insight into effective methods of including digital learning as well as including off-campus surroundings. They waned to learn how to prepare students for a life in a digitalised world.
