Within this project the school wanted to open the european school development process to a broad variety of teachers within the school center. They should have given the possibility to combine the personal development with the school development and widen their own view. The improvement of personal skills additionally to vocational skills is an important part of teacher development. School is more than teaching hard skills to students. Therefore teachers should be open for an active exchange with european partners.
This project was meant as a corner stone for the school development program, to open the school to the outside and to learn from other schools in Europe and from companies. The school wants to give an active personal development support to all teachers. The possibilities for teacher trainings are often reduced to vocational topics. In this project the teachers should have given a possibility to take actively part in the development of the school and to broaden their horizon. In the offers teachers could choose to learn more about personal ressources, communication, and their own personality. Additionally there were possibilities to learn from other school systems in Europe and from different ways of teaching. Teachers also could work as interns and fulfill their mandatory vocational trainings combined with the aspects of european partnerships.
