Objectives

1) The promotion of intercultural competences of English teachers. 2) The deepening of pedagogical methods, which are key competences in social pedagogy. Through those one should be enabled to promote low-conflict interaction within heterogeneous groups. 3) The development of coping strategies for experiencing stress in the context of school, so that teachers develop a healthy role model about their profession and apply it in everyday life.

Background

In the 2017/2018 school year, team "Europe" was initiated for the purpose of a planned international realignment. The colleagues of this team have set themselves the task of designing a European educational space that enables all students to qualify for the international job market after graduation. The project aimed to create the conditions for designing a European-influenced educational space for our students that would provide them with a barrier-free transition from our school to the European employment system. In addition, by revising the curricula in accordance with the guideline "SchuCu-BBS", a stronger focus should be placed on the acquisition of international competences of the students. It should be ensured that all school-internal curricula contain topics that have a European reference and serve the development of an international competence. Furthermore, this project should contribute to getting to know new European concepts with regard to the focal points of heterogeneity of the student body and teacher health through an international exchange.
