This project offered a solution to the problem: It combined the individual participation of teachers from Schillerschule in European training courses with job shadowings at partner schools in the field of ICT and digital learning. The aims of this project were to: - improve the digital competences of individual colleagues as well as the whole group of teachers at Schillerschule - facilitate the usage of tablets, smartphones, chromebooks etc. in lessons and help develop didactical concepts for doing that - strengthen the school's international profile by intensifying the cooperation with the European partner schools in this project
Schillerschule Hannover aims at preparing its students for the future by offering them opprtunities to participate in international actvities, gain intercultural experiences and digital competences. Thus, the competences of teachers in the areas of digital learning and teaching and intercultural training are vital. When this project was started in July 2019, many teachers still needed training in using tablets and ipads and integrating apps and other tools into their lerssons.
