Objectives

Through the project, we wanted to further the competences of the staff so that they through their own experiences explain the importance of internationality to their students. Therefore, the educational staff should be trained interculturally, professionally and, if necessary, also linguistically through job shadowing at partner organisations and get to know new teaching methods and teaching materials.

Background

We have carried out this project in order to further establish internationality and mobility in the IB Süd schools and for them to see Europe as a place of learning for the further development of one's own work and education. Internationality is based on the competences of the actors (teachers, social pedagogues, etc.). This means that internationalisation can only succeed hand in hand with the development of intercultural competences and international experience of the teaching and support staff. For this purpose, the staff must be trained accordingly.
