This project provides 60 students from 11th grade from spain and germany to visit the partner in the time from april 2020 to june 2021. They can gain intercultural, social, language and organisation experiences. Common lessons at school, hospitations and trips organized from the students give them the change to learn moore about the hospitable yountry. Accomodation is in hosting familiys to see the normal live. They learn to need the competences fort he european business and labourmarket. And they learn foreign languages. For the future of europe the basics are democratic values.
At least parts of this project could be realized. There was one encounter each in Spain and in Germany. The other planned encounters could not be carried out due to the pandemic, as there were travel restrictions. The project goals could be achieved. The students have gained intercultural, social, communicative and organizational experiences. The respective foreign language, Spanish or German, was used. Due to the accommodation in host families, communication was partly in English. The respective stays have shown the students the possibilities in a European economic area and job market as well as the need to learn foreign languages. At the same time you have recognized that Europe can only function on the basis of common basic democratic values.
