Project summary

The aim of the project is to analyse and increase the professional competences and skills of the participants. During the meeting weeks , complex project works will be carried out with the pupils, whether they are involved in the exchange or not. During the mobilities of the pupils in the “voie professionnelle” (vocational branch) a master piece will be created. These objects will then be used as exhibits in the schools as study support or a communication means. In order to design and create these works, students from different vocational fields will be involved, whether they are actively participating in the mobilities or not. This will lead to an increase of the awareness of the students on international and extra curriculae topics in the industrial branches. It will also broaden the objectives of the project. Furthermore, this work will allow specific professional qualifications in the electrical and painting industries to be met by all the target groups. A insight into the industry of the future will be made possible during the length of this project. E-Twinning will be used in particular as an online blog and all participants will contribute to it. The high school students will document various aspects of the industry of the future through radio stations, posters and press articles, which they will then upload to the E-Twinning blog. The aim of the project is to examine technical as well as economic and labour market aspects of the industry of the future. Various questions will be handled, such as "What impact will digitalisation have on the labour market?" or "How are companies preparing for the industry of the future?". E-Twinning, the School Education Gateway, is used to prepare, implement or follow up the project.

Final report summary

The aim of the project was to analyse and expand the professional competences of the participants. Within the individual project weeks, complex project tasks are carried out together with the pupils, including those who are not involved in the exchange. During the planned mobilities for pupils of the "voie professionnelle" (vocational sector), a workpiece is created in each case. The workpieces created during the mobilities will then serve as exhibits for further study and communication objects in the school. To design and create these objects, students from different branches of vocational education will be involved. Both those who will participate in the mobility and those who will continue to participate in the school lessons. This will allow for an extension of the project's objectives and an increase in cross-sectoral international awareness. Specific vocational qualifications in the electrical and painting sectors will also be fulfilled by both target groups at the same time when creating the work piece. Furthermore, the project will provide an insight into the industry of the future. Originally, e-Twinning was to be used as an online blog in particular and all participants will contribute to this. The eTwinning project will not be implemented due to staffing problems. Instead, we used various social media platforms. The high school students will document different aspects of the industry of the future, through radio stations, posters, press articles, which they will then upload on the social media channels accordingly. The aim of the project is to investigate technical as well as economic and labour market aspects of the industry of the future. Different questions, such as "What is the impact of digitalisation on the labour market?", or "How are companies preparing for the industry of the future?", will be addressed.
