The main objectives of the activities are for participants to learn new knowledge, skills, competences and attitudes and to enjoy themselves while learning. Additional objective is also to create a safe space for them to be whatever they want to and to feel accepted while trying. Objectives of the project and activities are: To raise awareness and to educate about educate of safe sex and healthy sexual expression and problems like depression, anxiety etc. among the participants. We plan to do that by inviting LGBT+ expert to give lectures on STD and support of the free clinic for the information about how the procedure of testing for HVI/AIDS goes. To raise awareness about political issues regarding LGBT+ rights like rights to get married and rights to have children by organising a forum for young people to talk about this topic with some local LGBT+ activists. Participants will be encouraged to learn more about the policies and how these policies are implemented in the reality to fully understand the political process and to think for themselves what has already been done in the history and what still needs to be done for equality of LGBT+. To raise awareness about tolerance of LGBT in the local community by making a blog on teenage LGBT+ life, writing about coming out to your friends and families, anxiety that follow your sexual orientation or gender confusion, coping with STD, coping with different motions like shame, fear and dealing with the misunderstanding and violence. Participants will be encouraged to share some of their experiences and thoughts on LGBT+ and with their approval, we will post these articles as blog on the internet. We will post these articles each one week to build the interest and to make results to last longer. To educate local communities about teenage LGBT+ and their parents, by making a leaflet with some guidelines written by young people for parents who have LGBT+ children. Participants will talk about their experiences with telling their parents and will write what kind of support they wish to receive from their parents. We believe some parents are ignorant and another way to involved in the lives of young people so this information will be useful for parents, grandparents and friends who know LGBT+ person and don’t know how to cope with that. To offer space for expression for participants by organising drag queen show and workshops accepting and facing emotions through theatre education. We will make a Drag Queen Show first just for participants and if they feel comfortable enough, they can repeat it also in the city centre as an awareness raising activity. The idea behind this is to promote creativity and make it a fun experience for all to see themselves transformed into their alter egos.
