Germany has its longest border with Poland. In increasingly troubled political times and the risk of the European Union breaking up, the main aim of the exchange project was to promote mutual understanding, trust and a friendly atmosphere by getting to know this neighbor. As part of the project, young people should be motivated and empowered to work together for more social justice regardless of origin, mother tongue and religion. The main goals of the youth camp were to inspire young people for the idea of Europe, to promote social engagement and to stimulate intercultural exchange. prejudices should be dismantled, commonalities came into focus, which strengthened European togetherness. Cross-cutting issues such as sustainability and gender equality should also be part of the project.
