As part of the project, we engaged with the young people on the (potential) creative public and participatory (art) spaces and methods that can serve as a platform for their creative/artistic development and self-realisation. We implemented a European project between Germany and Russia that consisted of both analogue and virtual encounters. Within the framework of the project we managed a total of 2 analogue encounters (1 in each partner country), 4 virtual encounters, which involved a total of 24 participants. With the encounter project we pursued the following goals: - To offer the young people a personal and, where appropriate, professional orientation. - To strengthen intercultural and creative/artistic project-related competences of the young people. - to offer the possibility to deal with European values (democracy, tolerance, peace, security etc.) in the urban spaces and societies of the partner countries - to give the participants the opportunity to shape the encounter, to realise their own project ideas and thus to strengthen their participation. - to give the young people new impulses for the implementation of their own and possibly social projects.
