The main idea of the project was to give practical experience of a conflict and its management process. The project responded to precise needs among the actors of civil society dealing with the conflict transformation and peacebuilding. We targeted mostly those youth workers that are at close contact with their local communities and that concentrate on their territory. Because of their narrow profile and particular character of their job, many times this organization lack the understanding for formulating sophisticated peacebuilding strategies and for extending their reach-out capacity outside their reality. As a consequence, these subjects lack financial stability and the possibility to formulate long-term goals in relation to their priorities. This is also due to the fact that despite a great grasp of the nature of the local problems these small and medium actors do not have a strong grasp of general strategies and problem-solving techniques to deal with these problems. We try to transfer the capabilities and the skills to our partners to set up strategies that could be adapted to solve their community problems. Furthermore, we strive to insert our partner in a transnational peacebuilding network aimed to connect our partner with like-minded people that could support them both in terms of skills and capabilities and in terms of financial abilities. For this reason among our learning targets, there was a series of cultural and analytical targets that concur altogether to the final objective. Ultimately our objective was to give a new focus on conflict transformation trying to move away from the role of the pure "activist" towards the one of "professional". This means not to indoctrinate the participants on basic moral assumption but to stimulate their critical thinking (for instance through the analysis of narrative and strategic thinking ) a to present conflict transformation as a problem-solving technique. The active participant our partners to our activities was a core objective for us. We encouraged the activities and the action of the single participants supplying mentoring and technical assistance with each peacebuilding activity that they propose and that they promote inside our network. We wanted to carry our participants from the education state to the implementation, supplying them an opportunity to experiment and present their results in a youth exchange with other participants. We have the deep-seated belief that mobility and peer-to-peer contacts can stimulate better policies and a stronger society. We think that dialogue among people helps integration and transnational cooperation. For these reasons, we have devised a task-oriented action which intended to promote: 1 The realization of a successful skill transfer activity about social peacebuilding and the promotion of the values of peace in order to improved competences, linked to our participants' professional profile 2 The set up of a future peacebuilding discourse able to integrate multilaterally the partners from the EaP countries and the partners from the member states 3 The creation of a functional transnational partnership that is able to work independently connecting our participants' local realities to a transnational one 4 The raising of awareness of the EU values as a peacebuilding tool for promoting multilateralism and social stability 5 A better awareness of the European project and the potential and limits of formal and nonformal education 6 The social empowerment of our participants to be social change promoter and the enhancement of their agency capacity and the ownership of their action;
