All four cooperating states have groups of disadvantaged youth. In Germany, these have been immigrants and refugees for some years, and refugees from eastern Ukraine in Ukraine. In Romania, especially young adults from Roma families have a hard time. In Belarus, the focus is on youth in rural areas. With the project of the International Youth Exchange we want to give disadvantaged young people from different European countries the possibility of a trip abroad. At the same time, the journey will have a subliminal impact on young people's mindsets by meeting young people of other backgrounds and working together on a community support project and in workshops. They are sensitized interculturally, may think more openly at the end of the experience. In addition, work on various areas of a playground gives young people first insights into various fields of work, in a simultaneous "holiday atmosphere".
