This is what the project aims at: It will inspire participants to regain trust in democratic youth work, to build up capacities, take over responsibility and to continue their engagement in civil society. The first objective is preventing radicalization; participants will learn from each other how they strengthened democratic ideas and structures in youth work and which approaches they used to address people prone to radicalization. Diving into best practice of youth culture projects, identity training and anti-discrimination exercises will be instruments to achieve this goal. The second goal is promoting intercultural and interreligious dialogue: Sharing dialogue skills, providing multi-perspective approaches and identifying the abuse of culture and religion for political purposes will help us achieve this goal. Promoting common values of freedom, tolerance and respect of human rights will be the third objective: We will fill those concepts with our personal understanding derived from biography, societal influence and our concepts of democratic youth work.
