Even in this modern world, where technology is improving conditions, and most of our partners live in countries that strive for democracy, there are many things that still affect active democratic participation, especially the participation of women. Since the Loesje methodology and ideology works actively in combating those complex processes of discrimination, demotivation and exclusion, we decided, together with other organisations, to focus on what we do good in the youth work, to improve it, and to bring into focus by fostering the participation of women in socio-political life. The project “Still raining / we climb the rainbow anyway” was created as a result of the feedback of youth workers in the partner organisations about the inclusion of women from marginalized groups (migrants, refugees, Roma, LGBTIQ etc) to take active step in the social and political life. Loesje e.V. works actively with those groups, and on a daily basis we meet women who are struggling. Through this project, we want to raise awareness about different form of discrimination that women face, factors that demotivate/restrict women from being equal players in the society and to show different creative and digital tools that can help women to work on their personal development and to be active participants in building strong societies. The objectives of this project are: - To explore the topics of “discrimination”, “inclusion” and “active participation” - To exchange information about position/realities of women (with fewer opportunities) in different societies - To learn and exchange creative and digital tools and methods for inclusion of women - To promote Erasmus+ and European democratic values in the inclusion processes Among this, we have the following specific objectives: - To create strategy for implementation of activities for increasing the participation of women with fewer opportunities - To create products (tools, methods, brochures, visual materials etc) that will motivate and support the inclusion of women in the socio-political life
