As young people entering "adult" life, we face new challenges every day that can feel stressful and overwhelming: moving away from home for the first time, looking for jobs, getting further education or voting. Some of us have more opportunities than others, and some of us have very little support. But we all need to support each other to become confident, reflective and responsible adults. Through implementing our project, we want to help build teamwork, trust and tolerance among young people rom 6 different European countries and very different social and cultural backgrounds. By working together on artistic, creative activities centered on the subjects of human rights, EU citizenship and democracy, we aim to decrease passiveness and radicalisation towards political and social issues. Furthermore, we want to build lasting international friendships between participants and partner organisations and grow their self-confidence. Objectives of our project: - Reflecting and thinking criticially about human rights and democracy in the EU - Having respectful, non-violent discussions about these topics - Learning about art and being creative together - Working together open-mindedly and with team spirit - Becoming more self-aware and self-confident - Strengthening our intercultural bonds and international friendships
