Objectives

Concrete objectives of the project were: - Quality development of youth work. The three study visits (A1, A2, A3/A9) in particular played a central role here. Social workers who previously had little or no experience with international youth work were given the opportunity to visit partner organisations in Spain and Portugal, also to exchange ideas with specific project partners in Leipzig and to work specifically on the planned youth exchanges and (A4-A8/A10). - Promotion of a common European feeling, the various activities were made tangible for both the youth workers and the young people of the local youth clubs - Promoting a sense of community and reducing fear of connecting, especially tackling language barriers - To counteract the trend towards national self-centeredness and anti-democratic structures in order to counteract resentments and prejudices and thus send a signal for solidarity
