The project aims to strengthen the capacity of a wide range of organisations working in the youth field within the EU and its Eastern Partnership region to foster youth participation through forming project-based and strategic partnerships for an enhancing their youth work practices, particularly for young people with fewer opportunities. The objectives of the project are: o To share good practices on fostering youth participation through diverse forms of youth work o To build transnational partnerships for future cooperation in the youth field among diverse organisations from across Europe o To develop needs-based follow-up projects for fostering youth participation on local level in Europe The project is a unique opportunity to build new partnerships with like-minded organisations representing a wide area of youth organisations from across Europe. It will offer lots of space and time to reflect on youth work approaches, exchange practices, learn from each other and – of course – to explore possible future partnerships to foster youth participation at local level. The project will particularly explore the synergies of international learning mobility activities as an instrument to enhance local youth work. This shall provide the ground for the participants to understand which type of international partnerships would most benefit their organisations, their youth workers, young leaders, youth and communities. Through organised spaces for building partnerships, the participants are then enabled to create the forms of partnerships (project-based cooperation, learning partnerships, exchange of expertise or staff) matching their needs the best.
