Objectives

If you look at the world around us today, at this moment, we see more and more conservative and repressive governments, small minded and inhuman approach towards migrants and sustainable impact of religious fundamentalism. We don’t give up hope, because in this context there are leadership driven youth and youth workers who continue to hold their positions and pave new avenues for a more sustainable and peaceful future. The project Dramatize! is a continuation of a set of successful initiatives led by Culture.World.Us. team to promote Human Rights Education at international, as well as local level. We want to take our work with the Youth one step further by promoting Human Rights Education and the opportunities it represents for the young people. The main aim of this project is to raise awareness about creative ways of addressing the Human Rights issues, as well as improve competencies linked to the professional profiles of Youth Workers, Youth Trainers and Youth Leaders. Project key objectives: - Provide knowledge on drama and theater methods so that to enable them use these methods in youth work - Raise the quality of Human Rights non-formal education; - Raise awareness about contemporary human rights issues - Strengthen cooperation between partner organisation, increase their capacity at international scale - Foster sharing and exchange between youth workers from different cultures, lean to work in multicultural environment - Increase the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship of youth workers so that to enable them to plan and organise their own initiatives/workshops addressing human rights issues
