The "build your future3" camp is an international youth exchange with the focus on vocational orientation, ecologically sustainable action and intercultural cooperation. Young people aged between 16 and 24 from disadvantaged backgrounds will take part. It has also been designed as a work camp and is involved in the renovation of a bird of prey catching station. In the mode of project learning organized as company simulation, it brings together the expertise of experienced team members from three nations in order to bring together and further develop innovative concepts of vocational, short-term educational measures on an international level. This results in four target and result dimensions: 1. the dimension of the structural and media results of the project: At the end of the camp, the aviaries of the bird of prey reception station will have restored outer walls and some new doors, feed flaps and fixtures. This will be the most tangible and visible result of the camp and the central goal of project learning. There will also be an image video for the station, a video report and a blog (including photos and videos) about the camp. The image video is included in the station's website. The video report handed out to all participants and used by the young people and their broadcasting organisation for presentations in their regions. 2. the dimension of the increase in experience and competence of the participants: In this project learning setting, the participants will gain self-efficacy experiences that counter the often existing resignation of the target group in the reflection and accompanying process and thus also create the basis for openness towards the following points. Each youth will reflect on their own dreams, desires, (slumbering) key competences and other (professional) resources as well as gain experience in at least three different fields of work and deal with related professional profiles. Both - experience and reflection - will be supported by reflection methods of vocational orientation and the Youthpass in connection to be brought. In this way, they receive impulses for the development of their own hopeful life and career perspectives and will leave the camp with action plans to implement these perspectives. In the aftermath and transfer of the camp to their original environment, they are further accompanied and supported by the respective broadcasting organisation in its implementation. In the camp, the young people will train, consolidate and further develop their linguistic, intercultural and social skills in contact with the other young people and their hosts from Middle Franconia. In this process you will learn about the living conditions in other countries and regions. These experiences will have a positive connotation, not least due to the joint successes in project work, and will promote a positive attitude towards international solidarity. For most participants, the camp will be the first international youth encounter, for many the first international trip (outside the family) ever. The international contacts and mobility experience gained will increase the likelihood of further mobility experiences (whether in the form of travel, youth exchanges or occupational mobility). The participants will come into an unusually close contact with birds of prey and owls and will deal with their life situation in Middle Franconia. This will be the exemplary starting point for an examination of species protection and ecological sustainability. By considering environmental protection as a field of work, this is linked back to the question of career prospects and opportunities in an (internationally) emerging market. Through a workshop to develop ideas for their own local follow-up projects, they will leave the camp with an impulse for civic engagement and (social) entrepreneurship. The entire authority acquisition of the young people is accompanied, supported and documented with the Youthpass. In addition, every young person receives the Youthpass as a certificate. 3. concept and competence development of pedagogues: The combination of the different approaches to vocational orientation and the Youthpass have already produced new impulses at the time of application. The educators* will continue to learn from each other, thus qualifying each other and returning to their local working environments with new experiences. In addition, new methods and concepts will emerge. 4. follow-up projects: We hope that the new concepts and experiences of the team members will provide impetus for local and European follow-up projects.
