Creativity will be one of the key notions of the 21st century. Science defines ‘creativity’ as an idea that is new, good, and useful. We would say more: it is a skill for imagining a non-existent thing, doing something in a different way from everyone else or producing new ideas. Studies show that creativity is an important dimension of learning. Creative thinking has a vital importance in terms of gaining knowledge. Another reason why creativity is significant is adaptation. In a world changing constantly, the youngsters and the youth workers need to be equipped with skills to adapt to the challenges of the fast changing labor market, and in the field of the youth work creativity can be the tool to meet the changing needs of the younger generations. What we will handle in this project? - Working the key points for the development of creative thinking and new ideas. - Revealing those factors preventing creative thinking among youth. - Determining the place and importance of creativity in career planning and personal development. - Showing how to apply creative thinking to work in the field of youth, and focus on social inclusion. - To equip young leaders with a usable toolbox of creative methods what they can use during their work. In this sense, the overall objective of our project is to increase the capacities of the youth workers to reveal the creative features of the young who will lead the future. Our specific objectives are: - Raising awareness among participants about the importance of creativity in the youth work. - Teaching participants about different ways of increasing creative thinking's skills. - Teaching youth workers key activities to develop youth skills, creativity based, and express and produce new ideas. - Analyzing common factors and attitudes that difficult the development of creativity in young people. - Disseminating good practices about creativity and its application in all aspects of daily life of youth work. - Teaching to youth workers behavioral models that trigger creativity. - Gather and discuss local experiences and new ideas for learning and developing creativity among young people. - Preparing new project designs to encourage and disseminate creativity among youth inside KA1 Erasmus +. Our project complies with youth development key skills, which are priority on Erasmus + program, and serves to the objective of raising awareness among the young by eliminating obstacles regarding learning and by teaching effective learning ways.
