The intention of „Cross-Border 19“ is to open and to break down borders, literally as well as symbolically. It means to go beyond the borders of one´s own self-assessment, to have confidence in oneself, to have the courage to act on a stage, to have the courage to take up new social contact. We want to make it possible to deal with the own and living realities of others, diverse identities and cultural diversity. Barriers that prevent coming together and integration should be treated and handled theatrically "Cross-Border 19" is intended to stimulate a critical examination of the present and history, to promote interest in political topics and to encourage human action. Cultural diversity should be lived and experienced as part of a plural and democratic Europe.
